Previous work relating to the project
TWT already has and still is participating in several research projects relating to Shared E-Fleet topics. For example, in the pilot project “iZEUS” (sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology) TWT is implementing a dynamic and comprehensive range prediction system for smart traffic mobility services. In addition, TWT optimizes the decentralized charging and load management in a smart grid by identifying an optimal charging curve. TWT also addresses aspects relevant to Shared E-Fleet in research projects on a European level, like e.g. the reliable collaborative calculation of data requiring protection across corporate boundaries.
Central activities in the project
- Designing and integrating an open architecture for shared electric vehicles fleets in the cloud
- Functional trust center for secure and trustful information exchange
- Smart energy management
